Ratas del Vaticano. A great band with an amazing sound out of Monterrey, Mexico. Take the best songs you’ve heard from the Killed By Death compilations and imagine a less synth-y and more agressive version of The Spits, and you have a good idea of what to expect. But not really. I cannot express my fondness for this band enough. They’ve already released an LP on Siltbreeze and an EP on Volar Records, with a soon to be released follow-up LP on CAPTCHA records.
